The Mystery Of Yubin’ra

Dear reader, this is not a normal book and if you want a book with happiness and joy I think you should stop reading NOW. In the year 1797, there was a fourteen-year-old boy, his name was Danish. Danish was no average boy. He was an orphan, his parents had been assassinated…..The reason for this? He doesn’t know…. But he will find out.

Chapter One: The Wishing Well

It was a cloudy and humid morning, Danish was at his home; the tent near the dump. He was scavenging for his breakfast in the dump (lots of times he didn’t eat at all) He had found a half eaten croissant but the rats and flies had found it first, so he decided not to eat at all. Then he saw a newspaperman on the street, and Danish decided to check out the news. The only problem was that this was Elizabeth New Jersey and the morning news was not free. Danish did have money, but he needed to save it to buy necessary items. Danish knew what he had to do; Danish was going to have to unleash his great ability of mischief and stealing on the newspaperman. Danish walked over to the man “Sir, SIR!! Please help, there’s a flood!! “ Why would Danish say this, you may ask? Well, the newspaperman used to work with people in floods he used to rescue people, So Danish knew that the man would ALWAYS help people when needed. “ Where is it!?” asked the man. “ Around that corner!” Said Danish, pointing to the left. “ Thank you for informing me!” The man said as he left his post running to the “flood”. Now Danish could take a paper. He carefully took a morning newspaper from the pile, he placed the one under it in the same position the original one was in so it didn’t look too suspicious. Danish skipped merrily back to his tent so that he could read the paper in peace. Danish was about to start reading the headline of an article when he heard the newspaperman coming back. Danish listened carefully. “ What a fool; he just wanted to waste my time, I will not fall for that again.” Danish chuckled whispering to himself “ Yet you fall for it every day! ”. Yep this was normal life for Danish he wasn’t the fondest of it but that’s how it was. He started to read the first article… “ Man’s wishing well wishes come true! Visit the Wishing Well today!” Wishing well? Danish thought to himself.. What if- What if I wished in it? Danish kept reading “Anyone can come and there is no price!” Danish was astounded! He might be able to have a happy life and be rich and maybe even have a wife, and kids! But as I said before, this is not a very happy book. Danish headed to the wishing well, when he got there he saw it! Well technically…. He was at the place staring at where the Wishing Well was located but there was a humongous swarm of people surrounding it so he couldn’t actually see it. Danish headed into the swarm. He somehow squirmed his way to the Well itself. Just in case to see if the Wishing Well actually “worked” , Danish ordered a simple gift. “ I wish that a coin would appear in my hand in three seconds”.. 1…2…3…4… He understood that the whole Wishing Well thing was a hoax.

Chapter Two: Yubin’ra Assassins

He headed back to his tent, he picked up the newspaper again and read a different article. “Yubin’ra Assassins on the loose”, Danish read on..”The Yubin’ra Assassins are the deadliest assassins known to NJ and Guernsey; they have escaped from prison. So we recommend everyone to be on their highest alert, if you see them then call 911 immediately and then run in the opposite direction! So all people know some of the people they have killed were. Edger Jamie, Lilo Coom, Franchin Koip, Wally Siren, Ellie Harien, Francis Defroe, Illiana Cass, Harriet Jean, Tyler Pillar, and Julie Pillar. Danish fell into three different stages of emotion right after he was done reading the names. Stage 1: Shock of how many people were killed and that that wasn’t all. Stage 2: Anger at the assassins for reading the names “Tyler Pillar and Julie Pillar”. Stage 3: Sadness for now he understood that his parents ( Tyler and Julie Pillar ) were assassinated by the Yubin’ra Assassins.

Chapter 3: Eating A Large Poisoned Milky Way

Danish was full of hate and despair. He couldn’t believe that someone would kill his parents! Then the realization of the situation hit him. If they had already killed his parents then he would be next! Danish gave himself two options, He could run away and move to Guernsey. Or he could get revenge… Stupidly Danish chose to get revenge and that is why the chapter is called: Eating a large poisoned milky way. So off Danish goes to what the newspaper had read as… “ The Yubin’ra assassin’s secret lair. ” Yeah, because every story has a secret lair. Danish went to the address: 49027 and immediately saw hundreds of police officers, detectives, and even some ambulance! He had a plan to get in though since it was going to be their “ lunch break “ in a few minutes then he would go inside when they left. Danish counted down in his head.. 5,4,3,2,1… “ Ok, everybody! Time for a lunch break we have to leave the site now, we all will come back later at about 1:00 p.m. Now everyone head on out “ Said a bald plump detective. Danish was thinking about how he hadn’t eaten lunch and was very, very, VERY hungry. But through his stubbornness, he ignored his craving for a milky way, and stepped inside.. As soon as he did the door did not slam behind him, but it gently closed, nearly as gently as the flap of a butterfly’s wing. The way the door closed gave Danish a sense of innocence like nothing really mattered, it was nearly hypnotizing him… He stumbled into a small enclosed room, again the door closed slowly and gently. But then, in an instant. Danish was chained up to a chair. A flashlight stung his eyes and he saw the blurry outline of two men looking at him. The men were chatting amongst themselves, but Danish couldn’t make out what they were saying. Then they stopped, stood up tall to intimidate him, and said words in sync that have haunted Danish to this very day “ Welcome Danish Pillar “ He couldn’t understand how they knew his name, all he understood was that he needed to get out of there. They spoke again in sync “ Milkyway of the making come to hypnotize “ Danish was astounded that even though the men were adults they didn’t speak very well. Then he saw it, a large milky way in the middle of the room. He drooled in hunger. The men uncuffed him from the chair, and Danish immediately stood up. The men told Danish that he had a choice to make, he could run away. Or eat the suspiciously large milky way. As we have discovered before Danish can be bad when it comes to making choices. So again stupidly, he chose to eat the milky way. He told the men his answer and dove at the chocolate and caramel mixture. He sunk his teeth into it and immediately passed out from poisons…

Chapter 4: The Bald Detective Is Back Again

Danish woke up to a loud rustle. The plane he had been kidnapped on was landing in a place he did not know. “ Welcome to Guernsey. “ said the men from New Jersey. There went his plan of escaping to Guernsey. They landed at a site that was decorated beautifully. There were Cherry blossom trees everywhere, and astounding poppies surrounding them in a path that led to a large two-story mansion. The aroma surrounding them was mint and lavender, but very soft. Danish was led inside by the men, he followed even though he didn’t have to. Danish kind of felt like they were the “good guys”… The men spoke softly to him. “Would you like a tour of our humble home?” Humble home was an understatement. The house was humongous even though it was only two stories. “Yes, that might be nice” Danish responded in a high authority tone. “This is the grand entrance” Danish looked around. It was definitely grand, the door was lined with Bronze, and there was a big carpet which was made of linen and had white bitterroots on a grey background. They led him to the left. “This is the kitchen” Danish walked around in the enriched area. The kitchen had a big island in the middle made of pure white marble. The cupboards and cabinets were also white but made of polished tile with a simple square design on them. The sink was metallic black, and the wallpaper/backsplash was a triangulated design colored silver. “Next up is the family room.” The family room was exquisite. The sofas were made of microfiber and were a light blue which looked good with the clear, gold-trimmed, circular coffee table. There was a large stone fireplace near a bookshelf that was the center of attention. “This is the living room” A large grey half-circle couch was in the middle of the room. They had a flat screen T.V. that was a fifty inch! A woman was sitting on the couch sharpening a harpoon. Danish cowered behind the men. They surprisingly comforted him. They told him that her name was Elle Harrien. Danish found that name familiar but from where he did not know.. They were almost done with the tour and met a lot of other people. He had heard all of their names before and still couldn’t figure out how. “ We have a surprise for you. You are bound to like it.” Danish was intrigued and didn’t understand what happened next. The men opened a door, and Danish saw a woman and the plump detective sitting on a bed looking at him. The woman cried tears of joy and ran up to hug Danish. He felt uncomfortable. Was it really true? Almost as if the men knew what Danish was thinking they nodded and said “Meet your parents this man is what you thought was a detective he is your father and the woman is your mother.”

Chapter 5: The Truth

During the next few days, Danish learned some key things to this story. That his parents and all others that were “killed” and listed in the newspaper were there and very much alive. Also those people were not the assassins, they were all survivors of the assassins and were actually trying to defeat the REAL Yubin’ra Assassins. Before we get back into the story I want you to know that the “Newspaper man” is a part of the team his name is: Wally Siren, anyways back to the story. They had tried so many times to defeat the assassins and had failed each one. They thought that Danish could do it. Danish got an instructor, Wally Siren he was the best in the squad and had defeated half of the assassins on his own, but had retired and so did not get to defeat the rest. Danish trained as hard as he could and was stronger, faster, and better than Wally was even in his best moments. And that was “The Truth”.

Chapter 6: The First Fight

It was time. Part of the squad was getting dressed including Danish. The ones getting ready were: Edger Jamie, Lilo Coom, Wally Siren, Illianna Cass , Ellie Harrien, and Danish Pillar. They were dressed in suits for fighting and other sorts of combat. Why may you ask? This part of the squad was going to the lair of the Yubin’ra. If you’re also wondering why Wally would come then it’s so he can guide people through a walkie talkie. So anyways, they all were ready and got into a large black jeep. They stealthily drove to a five story mansion in a camouflaged place near a swamp and stepped quietly out of the jeep. They hid behind it to where anyone from the mansions perspective could not see them. They made a plan that they were here to spy but if a fight was brought up or they were spotted they would have to fight back. When they were finally ready (traveling by trees) they went up to the mansion, Danish was paired up with Illiana who was about sixteen and worked with guns. Danish’s weapons were a pistol, and a throwing dagger that had a magnet on it so when he threw it it would come back to him. He went through a vent and was in a ventilation system above the rooms on the first story. He was searching the rooms for people. He stopped above a room that had every single Yubin’ra assassin in it. Illianna alerted the others and the squad came. They all listened and watched as the assassins started their meeting. The leader: Jameson Trainfran, was talking about “The First Fight” Danish and the squad could not figure out what they were talking about. Jameson stopped talking and stared at the vents near where the squad was. No one moved a muscle and were all dead silent. Danish was barely breathing. All of the squad was hoping that what happened next would not. Wally called them on their walkie talkies. “Where are you guys, what are you doing?” For a few seconds everyone stared at the walkie talkie. Then the silence broke “BANG!” Illianna had fired at the leader and there started the fight. The squad jumped out of the vents! Illianna and Edger charged at the leader who was shooting and trying to stab them! Danish was being shot at, He ran outside so did the Yubin’ra scythe handler everyone else was taken outside too. Wally was helping Lilo because Lilo was stabbed in his arm. Danish’s pistol was out of ammo and knocked out of his hand. He threw his dagger at the scythe handler and the handler caught it in mid air with a murderous gleam in his eyes. He pointed it at Danish and threw it back, It dug into the grass a centimeter away from Danish! Danish tripped over it and was now crawling backwards on the grass with horror flooding through him; everyone else had retreated to the jeep and was being held there by the other Yubin’ra assassins! This is the end of me, Danish thought rapidly through his head. The scythe handler held up his scythe and swung it down! It never hit Danish.. Wally had jumped in front of Danish right before it would’ve hit him. The scythe handler was shocked and stood there staring. Danish got up, got his dagger and threw it at the handler. It went straight through him. Danish ran to Wally and put him in the jeep that the Yubin’ra assassins had stopped guarding and had run inside. They carefully put Wally on the bus and were trying to exaggerate it. They drove away and were laughing and snorting the whole way back to their base! So was Wally! He had acted like it had killed him but it was in between his armpit! They arrived back at the base, it was night when they got there. They all went to their rooms silently. When Danish entered his room (he shared one with his parents) his family was waiting anxiously and hugged him when he came in. They wrapped up Danishes arm and they all went to sleep.

Chapter 7: Spy Chickens

“CLUCK CLUCK” “COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOO!!!!”
The squad all woke up at about 6:30 to this noise made by stray chickens, and a few roosters. Danish, Fransis, and Harriet all went outside; they had woken up first. They split up to find the chickens and bring them inside to check them. They did this because you don’t find a lot of chickens at a cherry blossom field in a hidden area at the edge of Guernsey on a private beach. (they had a small private beach in their backyard) When the three of them finally found the chickens everyone else was up and in the backyard waiting for the three of them. They went out back carrying the chickens and the roosters. There were 3 chickens and 2 roosters. The squad inspected them closely. They found that the eyes of the chickens were actually white, and looked like they were made of metal. Danish’s Mother got out a knife and gutted a rooster, it was a robot on the inside! They knew who would send something like this and tried to break all the robots! Fair fight you may say right some chickens v.s some trained people? No. No, it was not a fair fight and I have 5 reasons why. 1: The chickens had laser eyes. 2: The chick-bots (a name that Danishes father gave them) were made of hard metal. 3: The chick-bots had razor claws. 4: The chick-bots had higher agility levels (they are basically ninjas) 5: They learned and could predict their enemies next moves. Oh yeah and there’s a 6th thing: IT TAKES 3 PEOPLE TO TAKE DOWN ONE, AND EVEN THEN ITS SUPER HARD!! Don’t worry though the squad after LITERALLY 2 HOURS defeated the chick-bots! Happy ending! Right? Nope! There’s more chapters so move on!

Chapter 8: Get Ready

Finally the chick-bots were defeated, and the squad were all playing at their beach! Everyone was splashing in the water and just having a good time. Until the Captains (the twin men from before) called everyone in for a meeting. They sat in the living room on the large circle couch. “Thank you all for coming” said the Captains, “ We are here because the Yubin’ra assassins have killed so many more people after the first fight, they are threatening to kill the Bailiff of Guernsey!” Danish shifted uncomfortably. “The WHOLE squad has been challenged to a fight and if we don’t, well…” The Captains did a slicing motion near their necks. The squad understood that if they did not accept then the Bailiff would be murdered. Danish stood up; “Then I say we fight till justice is served!” He put his hands in the middle of the room. “Who’s with me?!” He said. Everyone eventually put their hands in. “Then it is settled” The Captains replied to this act “ Tomorrow night we will go to Jangin Alley, be prepared to fight.”

Chapter 9: Jangin Alley Fight

Danish headed to his room, he was getting ready for the Jangin Alley Fight. Danish laid out his weapons; His magnetic dagger, two pistols, and a flame thrower everyone was equipped with things like this including different bombs in Danish’s case he had, 8 smoke bombs, 5 acid bombs, 6 nukes, 4 casual bombs, and 15 rocket bombs. The squad had bombs like these because they were all immune in the suits they had and the liquids that were put in them. Danish was tired and needed sleep for the fight, he got into night clothes, laid on his bed, and drifted to sleep. It was morning. The squad woke Danish up at about 9 o’clock. They had a plan to be ready. The first half of the day they would train and the second half they would rest, meditate, and maybe read books on fighting. This way they would be trained for the battle, but also be mindful and well rested; giving them energy to fight. They did this routine and got dressed. It was now 10 p.m. They got into their jeep knowing that what lay ahead was not going to be joyful… The Captains drove them to the alley, but before they went in the Captains told them something about the suits everyone was wearing they said that they had a camouflage mode that would literally make you invisible. After the Captains told the squad this they all felt a little better knowing they could take a break to hide for a minute. They slowly exited the jeep. The sky was black and it seemed as if no stars were there. There were no lights in the alley, the squad went into the alley back to back in a circled formation. The exit was blocked by a quick moving wall, they all flinched and held up a weapon. A large yellow light flickered on. The squad could all see him, Jameson Trainfran was standing directly under the light. The squad could also see the Yubin’ra assassins hiding in the shadows behind Jameson. “ So..” Jameson said “Welcome to your death sentence” Immediately after it had begun. Danish hurled towards Jameson but Jameson deflected him easily and stabbed Danish in the arm! Wally came to help out, he jumped on Jameson and pinned him down punching his every time! He stopped and saw if he had done enough damage. Jameson’s face was fine! There was no blood at- BAM! Wally had been hit in the head with a bat by Jameson! Illianna shot at Jameson and hit him in the leg! Danish ran to help Lilo who was trying to fight off a man who had already shot Lilo, Danish shot at the man! The aim was very direct and Danish hit the man very close to the heart! Someone else came over and pinned Danish down and started trying to cut off his head! Danish was restraining to where the man was cutting at Danish’s cheek. Francis came over and cut the man on Danish nearly in half with a sword! Danish turned on his camouflage and whispered to everyone that he was going to drop a rocket bomb and to be ready. When he was done he stabbed a few people and burned some with a flamethrower. Then, he dropped a rocket bomb. It exploded BA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It stung the squad’s ears for about 3 minutes, when the smoke had cleared the assassins were defeated. Well at least from what the squad knew, they were defeated. The bodies were all missing and there was no blood anywhere. The squad headed back to the jeep even though that was a mystery untold. When they were finally back everyone was worn out and went directly to bed.

Chapter 10: A Sign

When Danish woke up the next morning it was dead silent outside. There was no one in the house but there was a note on Danish’s desk. The note said “We have gone out grocery shopping, we will be back soon” Danish was ok with that and laid in bed. Something was off though, his right hand was feeling odd, as if it had something in it.. Danish checked his hand, and in it was…… A coin.
